SAMPLES AND CATALOGS

Can you send out samples?

We certainly can send out samples of our wallpapers and borders. There is an $8.00 charge for borders and an $8.00 charge for wallpapers. This charge includes the shipping of the sample.

Do you have a catalog?

Creative Home Accents does not offer a print catalog. There are simply too many home decor products available, with new home decor accents coming out everyday. We have decided to place all of our product information in our online catalog to keep our costs low to you, and to be able to bring you the latest products on a timely basis. Please go to our online catalog to find products for all of your home decorating needs.


ORDERS

How long will my order take?

We process all orders within one business day. All items that are available, and in our inventory, will ship out of our warehouse with 1 – 2 business days. In the instance that your product is out of stock, you will be notified by one of our customer care specialists.

Delivery time will depend on the type of shipping that you chose. Our ground shipments will be shipped best way, either Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Ground shipments normally take 4 to 10 business days. Expedited orders, (Overnight or Second Day Air) will arrive within one or two business days (depending on which service you chose). Orders received after 12 noon EST will be considered next day’s business.

You will be notified if an order is back ordered with the manufacturer and there will be a delay in getting the item to you.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Unlike our competitors who claim to offer free shipping and then build the cost of shipping into the product costs, we offer everyday low prices on our items and do let you know what the shipping charges will be at the time of your order. Shipping cost depends on the type of shipping you chose, the weight of the package and the distance the package has to travel. We will be happy to quote you a shipping rate when you have selected your products.

I have not received my order, how do I find out if it has shipped?

Please wait 4 to 10 business days for your order to arrive. After that time, you may call our customer service department and they will be happy to update you on the status of your order. Or, you may email us.

If you have provided us with a valid email address, you will receive an email confirmation of your order and an updated status email as your order ships.

How much do you charge for shipping?


Our shipping costs are calculated from the published UPS and United States Postal service rates. Shipping depends on the weight of the package and the distance that the package will travel. We will be happy to quote shipping charges when you have selected your patterns.

Do you ship overseas?

Unfortunately, no. Creative Home Accents only ships to the United States and Canada at this time.

What type of credit cards do you take?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.


WALLPAPER QUESTIONS

What is the length of a roll of wallpaper?

A standard double roll of wallpaper contains approximately 56 square feet or 33 lineal feet.

How long is a roll of border?

Almost all of our wallpaper borders are 15 feet in length. If the border contains more or less footage, this will be noted on our site in the item’s product description.

How much wallpaper will my project take?

Wallpaper is normally calculated in square footage. You will need to take the length of a wall and multiply it by the height of the wall to get the square footage of that wall. Measure all areas of your room and determine the square footage. You will then divide this number by 25 to determine the number of single rolls of wallpaper that you will need.

Why does wallpaper come packaged in a double roll?

Wallpaper comes in different lengths and widths and, although usually priced by the single roll, it is packaged either as double or triple rolls. People may find this packaging versus pricing situation hard to understand. However, wallpaper is packaged this way because double and triple rolls provide more usable wallpaper than single rolls. In addition, extra wallpaper allows for a margin of error during hanging, will help avoid the problem of finding the same dye lot or printing run when reordering to complete a project, or if the wallpaper on the wall has been damaged and needs repair.

Is your wallpaper pre-pasted?
Most of our wallpapers are pre-pasted and you only need to add water to adhere them to the wall. Complete instructions will be shipped with your wallpaper and we recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s hanging instructions for the best results.

Is your wallpaper vinyl?

Almost all wallpapers made today are vinyl coated. This means that the wallpaper is made of a paper substrate and then treated, or coated, with a vinyl or acrylic type vinyl. These wallpapers are classified as scrubbable and strippable and are suitable for most areas. Please refer to individual manufacturer’s specifications of their products.

How do I find the type of pattern that I need?

There are several ways to find the type or pattern of wallpaper that you are looking for. We suggest that you use the search box located on the top left of every page of our website. You may enter in the type of wallpaper (ex. Teddy bears), a pattern number, or a book name. If you are unable to find what you are looking for and need further assistance, we will be happy to assist. You may email us. your request or you may call our toll free number.

Can you get discontinued patterns?

We are sometimes able to supply discontinued patterns if we have them available in our inventory or we are able to locate them from one of our suppliers. We can’t guarantee availability on discontinued patterns, but we will certainly be happy to try to locate them for you.

If I order too much wallpaper, can I return it?
Excess wallpaper can be returned if it returned within 30 days of delivery. The wallpaper must be unopened and in its original condition. There will be a 25% restocking fee charged for all overage returns.

What if I don’t like the pattern that I order?
If you are not satisfied with the pattern that you order, you may certainly return it within 30 days of receipt. The wallpaper must be unopened and in its original condition. There will be a 30% restocking fee charged for all returns that are not defective or damaged.

Since colors can vary from monitor to monitor, we suggest that if you are unsure of the color or design of your pattern that you order a sample or physically look at the pattern in a home decorating store near you before placing the order. We can’t be responsible for the coloration that shows up on individual computer monitors.

What do I do if my wallpaper is defective?

Creative Home Accents stands behind all of its products. If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, we will gladly replace the product at no charge to you. Please call our toll free number and one of our customer service agents will be happy to assist you with the exchange.

How long are backorders?
Manufacturer’s back orders are out of our control and can vary in length. The most common type of back order is just that the manufacturer simply ran out of the goods and is in the process of making more. We will advise you if any product that you order will have a substantial delay.
